CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT BY BRIMBORIA INSTITUTE
A statement of KW Institute for Contemporary Art
On short notice, KW Institute for Contemporary Art cancelled the event “An evening without Christian Worch” planned for the evening of June 26 as part of the 7th Berlin Biennale, after the well-known neo-Nazi Christian Worch had been invited to participate in the panel against previous agreements and information.
In her position as director of KW, Gabriele Horn clearly opposes an equal dialogue with neo-Nazis in terms of a mutual acknowledgment. In principal, KW refuses to function as a stage for any type of neo-Nazis, legitimizing participating people through a public discussion in a recognized art institution.
