IDEA arts + society is an independent magazine published by IDEA Design & Print and IDEA Foundation in Cluj, Romania. The magazine situates itself at the crossroads between two axes of meaning, one running from arts to politics (or society) and the other defined by the heterogeneity between text and image. For a night, IDEA organizes a public discussion on the questions that preoccupy the upcoming, twenty-ninth issue of the magazine. Participants include Ami Barak, Bogdan Ghiu, Daniel Knorr (whose new installation is on view at the Neue Nationalgalerie as part of the 5th berlin biennial), Alexandru Polgár, Adrian T. Sîrbu, Ovidiu Þichindeleanu, and Raluca Voinea. This evening is presented by U-TURN Quadrennial for Contemporary Art and realized in cooperation with the 5th berlin biennial as part of the collaborative project Opening Hours.
